Paul Gisby

​Paul is the founder and owner of Mobilek -a UK qualified electrician with over 30 years of diverse experience across the electrical industry.

He began his career with a four‑year apprenticeship, completed in 1998, working throughout the Southeast of England. By 2002 he had earned his JIB electrician grading and went on to contribute to major projects across London, gaining invaluable experience in fast‑paced, high‑pressure environments.
Over the following years, Paul broadened his expertise internationally, working in Australia, New Zealand, and Egypt whilst travelling the world before returning to the UK for another two years of intensive project work.

His next chapter took him to South Africa.

In 2008 he relocated permanently to South Africa and began the rigorous process of obtaining his South African Wireman’s Licence. After navigating extensive paperwork and qualification requirements, he achieved full certification for his wireman’s license in 2010.
On 17 March 2010, Paul founded Mobilek—starting from the boot of a 1984 Honda Ballade—and has built it steadily into the trusted, reputable electrical service provider it is today.
